IntelliFinishing began its journey in 2008, initially not branded under its current name. The company emerged from a collaboration involving IntelliTrak, Midwest Finishing Systems, and Kasa Controls & Automation. This partnership was initiated by Caterpillar, which saw potential in the IntelliTrak conveyance system for finishing applications.

Initial Collaboration: Caterpillar brought together IntelliTrak (conveyor systems), Midwest Finishing Systems (modular ovens, washers, and process equipment), and Kasa Controls & Automation (control systems) to develop prototype finishing systems.

Brand Evolution: The finishing system technology was branded as IntelliFinishing to differentiate it from IntelliTrak’s material handling systems.

Market Expansion: After successful implementations for Caterpillar, the technology was made available to other companies. Kasa Controls & Automation became the primary point of contact for these finishing systems.

Current Operations: IntelliFinishing has installed dozens of systems across the U.S. and continues to showcase its systems to potential clients, emphasizing customer satisfaction and post-sale service.
